Project Management Should a general contractor (GC) already be in place, SSLLC can fill this void often encountered by GC’s. In times when a competent project management presence is necessary, SSLLC can be there to bring the peace of mind that can be critical in achieving project goals. Through its principals and professional associates, SSLLC can deliver project management teams and individuals who can get the job done correctly and on time. Knowledge is valuable, but superior knowledge is priceless. SSLLC has the expertise and knowledge available for its clientele to access at any time. Our knowledge base can greatly enhance the value for every dollar invested by the client, with the comfort of knowing that the information and knowledge shared is superior and second to none. SSLLC has the capabilities to deliver all services offered in a cost effective manner, and has determined that in many instances consulting is the lead-in service that secures future business. Training is often a service arising from the consulting phase of a business relationship. Helping our clients identify their Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) training needs, opens the door to the opportunity, and having the resources to provide expert training to meet the needs, establishes a revenue source that SSLLC plans on marketing aggressively. SSLLC can tailor a client’s training program to meet the specific needs whether job related or position related. Our programs are flexible and can often integrate multiple topics to satisfy the regulatory requirements of different regulatory agencies, giving SSLLC a competitive edge in this service.
Sioux Services, LLC has identified two major markets that it will target for its services, the Government Sector and the Private Sector. The Government Sector opportunities are especially lucrative for SSLLC because if its “woman based enterprise” and “disadvantaged based enterprise” designations. From federal set aside work to municipal minority contracts, SSLLC submits bids for contracts that it considers within its capabilities to perform successfully. SSLLC believes that its knowledge and expertise, coupled with its ability to successfully compete on project cost proposals, will enable the company to generate a significant portion of its revenue from this sector.
The Private Sector market comprised of all of those potential clients that are not government affiliated. Among the many possible customers available to SSLLC will be Construction, Demolition, Industrial, Energy/Utilities, Manufacturing, Chemical, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, and Educational Institutions.
Sales and Marketing
SSLLC generates sales through its existing professional referral base, retained clients and contacts of associates, customers and future employees. They are representative of the target markets as described in the previous section.
Sioux Services, LLC has established its foundation in the experience and expertise of its founders – Ms Kandy M. Boyer, President of Sioux Services, LLC is a professional environmental executive manager with 32 years of progressive and responsible experience. She began her career as a Dispatcher and Environmental Manager in the fall of 1986, continuing through the fall of 1998, as an employee of a full service environmental company. She managed field services and day to day office issues. She then furthered her work experience and training as a Marketing Executive for a Reading, PA based environmental company, and continuing her professional career as a Senior Account Executive. Her duties as President of Sioux Services, LLC will be to represent SSLLC in all corporate activities, oversee customer service, develop and support new sales and support staff, and coordinate the corporate marketing program including trade shows and events. Ms Boyer received her B.S. degree in Psychology and Marketing/Human Resources from Albright College. Ms Boyer maintains required professional training in industry required subject matter, which is current and in good standing. Mr. Michael Miller, CEO of Sioux Services, LLC is a professional construction and environmental manager with over 30 years of experience in managing large operations for both government and private sector projects. He acquired his initial professional experience as a General Chief Executive Officer for a top environmental remediation company in Houston, TX in 1987. He was responsible for increasing revenues from $ 220 million to over $800 million concentrating on heavy industrial spill cleanup sites. Moving from Texas to the New York metropolitan area in 1989, Mr. Miller furthered his professional work experience and training by managing operations for premier environmental consulting and contracting companies serving clients in the NY, NJ, CT and PA. Among his major accomplishments include contributions to: Triage for September 11, 2001 in New York City Valdese Oil Spill operations in Alaska Groundwater remediation projects in third world countries Superfund site cleanup in Hoboken, NJ His duties as CEO of Sioux Services, LLC will be to manage the day to day operations of the company and its services, identify and contribute to the development of new business and revenue streams, negotiate federal set aside contracts and private sector agreements, maintain regulatory compliance and remain on the forefront of new regulations as they may impact the clients and services of Sioux Services, LLC. Mr. Miller received his M.S. in Business Management from the University of Pennsylvania and a Masters in Finance from the Wharton School of Business. Mr. Miller maintains required professional training in industry required subject matter, which is current and in good standing.
